Wallace Baker Public Relations

Publicity goes around comes around

We help publicise your business internationally in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and, of course, locally within your state, city, town or suburb. We achieve publicity for you in the mass media, including the press. radio, television and the internet.

In today's world of globalisation and the worldwide web, more businesses sell to customers, clients and investors internationally. They promote globally, not just locally, understanding that what goes around the world as publicity comes around back to them as a bigger market share. Internet publicity not only expands their market internationally but also locally.

We help publicise your business by distributing news releases. We coordinate your news releases with your web site and optimise your web pages to achieve better publicity. Your pages can be optimised for local and international traffic.  This increases your ranking with the search engines and brings more clients and customers to your web site.

Most people these days spend more time browsing the internet than reading newspapers,  listening to radio or watching television. As Microsoft chairman Bill Gates says, "People spend more time on the Windows PC now than they do watching TV."

Australian Communications and Media Authority says more Australians trust the internet than press, radio or television as their best source of information. The report says 25 per cent list the internet as their most trusted source of information, 20 per cent list newspapers as their most trusted source, 17 per cent television, 13 per cent radio and one per cent magazines.
The authority released this finding in 2009 in its report titled Australia in the Digital Economy - Trust and Confidence Study.
The report was commissioned by the Australian Government and was based on a phone survey by Roy Morgan of 1,600 people in 2008.

More advertisers include internet advertising in their campaigns than any other advertising, according to a poll conducted in the United States in 2009. The Harris Poll of LinkedIn Research Network has found that just over 90 per cent of advertisers use internet advertising compared with just under 90 per cent using press advertising and less than 50 per cent using radio, television and mobile phone advertising.
